The First Community Bank Youth Leadership Weakley County program gives local high school students an opportunity to build leadership skills, explore career paths, and better understand the communities they call home. Through hands-on learning, site visits, and conversations with local professionals and community leaders, students gain confidence, strengthen teamwork skills, and discover opportunities available across Weakley County.
Sponsored by First Community Bank of the Heartland and supported by local partners, the program helps prepare the next generation to lead, serve, and make a meaningful difference in their communities.
The Youth Leadership Board of Directors plays an important role in guiding the program and helping create meaningful experiences for students. Board members contribute their time, knowledge, connections, and community insight to support program planning, student development, and continued growth. Their leadership helps ensure the program remains relevant, engaging, and connected to the people, industries, institutions, and opportunities shaping Weakley County.
