Weakley Chamber Business Boost
Weakley Chamber Business Boost provides learning opportunities designed to help local business owners, managers, and professionals continue growing and strengthening their skills. Held at various times throughout the year, these workshops and informational sessions cover a variety of timely and practical topics that support businesses of all sizes. Examples of topics include financial planning and budgeting, beginner QuickBooks guidance, holiday and seasonal marketing ideas, using emerging tools and technology, financial compliance, navigating workplace conflict, customer engagement, and more. Business Boost sessions are designed to be approachable, helpful, and relevant to the everyday challenges and opportunities faced by local businesses.
Annual Stephen Wright Memorial Industry Appreciation Golf Tournament
Each May at Persimmon Hills Golf Course in Sharon, Tennessee
One of Weakley County’s longest-standing traditions, the Industry Appreciation Golf Tournament is a day dedicated to celebrating the businesses and industries that drive our local economy and is named after Stephen Wright. Players enjoy a full day on the course along with lunch, refreshments, prizes, and plenty of camaraderie. Whether you’re competing, networking, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, this event is a favorite for a reason. The 48th Annual Golf Tournament was in May 2026.
Annual Membership Banquet

The Weakley County Chamber’s Annual Membership Banquet is an evening of celebration, recognition, and community pride. The 2026 theme was Lighting Up Our Community, and the event honors the individuals, businesses, and organizations whose passion and dedication help Weakley County shine. Guests enjoy dinner, the graduation of both the First Community Bank Youth Leadership Weakley County as well as the signature adult Leadership Weakley County classes, and the presentation of Membership Recognition Awards. It is a time to come together, reflect on the year’s accomplishments, and celebrate the people who make a lasting impact across our communities.
Leadership Weakley County Program
Leadership Weakley County is a gateway to making a meaningful difference in our region. Designed for individuals ready to lead, this flagship adult program offers a behind-the-scenes look at the challenges and opportunities shaping Weakley County. Participants explore key areas such as economic development, education, healthcare, and government through hands-on experiences and exclusive sessions with local, regional, and state leaders. Along the way, class members build lasting relationships and gain practical insight into how to create impact in their own communities. Graduates leave with a deeper understanding of Weakley County, a strong network of peers, and the confidence and tools to step into leadership roles that move our communities forward. This program runs from January until April of each year.
