Leadership Weakley County is a professional development program designed to build informed, engaged, and connected leaders across Weakley County. Participants explore key community issues, strengthen leadership skills, and build relationships with peers and local decision-makers.
Program Goals

- Foster relationships among business, government, nonprofit, and education sectors
- Encourage active involvement and collaboration in community growth and problem-solving
- Strengthen personal leadership skills and confidence
🧠 How it Works
Applications for the 2026 Leadership Weakley County Class will accepted until Friday, November 14, 2025.
Each class meets for eight sessions focused on major areas that shape daily life and long-term progress in Weakley County. Topics include quality of life, education, local and state government, economic development, and agriculture. Sessions include discussions, hands-on activities, facility tours, and conversations with local, regional, and state leaders.

📝 Program Details
- Tuition: $350 per participant (includes materials, charter bus travel to the State Capitol, and meals during sessions)
- Commitment: Full attendance, participation, and project completion are required for graduation
- Schedule: Sessions run from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Eligibility: To be eligible to participate, applicants must:
- Live or work with a business, company, industry, or organization located in Weakley County.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a Tennessee Real ID [in order to enter state and federal buildings].
- Pay the program dues of $350 on or before January 1, 2026.
- Applications will be accepted until the class quota (20) is met.
Deadline to submit is Friday, November 14, 2025.
